How To Hack Your Biology For Success

FINISH 7 secrets to achieve all your goals

Achieve all of your short, and long term goals is much simpler than it looks. If you understand the ideas in this short ebook you will be able to attain all your goals with no more effort. Imagine all of your goals you have for yourself actually coming true. How would that make you feel? Imagine achieving all of your physical, mental, and financial goals. The secret to all your goals actually come from within. We have a secret force that drive us to achieve anything, the key is to harness this force through implementation of systems. I have laid out 7 ways to harness this force, and with the application of these 7 ideas your goals will be achieved faster than you could ever imagine.

In the last year after understanding how to motivate myself, I have achieved all of my short term goals, and are well on the way to my long term goals. In 2013 I set a physical goal, a financial goal, and a personal development goal. I was able to reach all of these goals even before the year was over. The goals were not what are considered easy goals either. When I wrote One Hundred thousand dollars as a goal it actually scared me a bit to have that as a goal. Today I realize thats not much money, but for a 25 year old kid who was broke just 2 years prior, it was a whole lot of money to me. The feeling I had when I realized I had hit that goal made my confidence go through the roof. Not only did I have money and more security, but I had the competence to now achieve future goals by doing the same things. From making more money, to bringing my body fat down to 6%, to reading a book a week, my goals became much simpler to achieve. I want to share my results by passing on the secrets to you.

Let’s talk about why most people don’t achieve there goals, and the obstacles they have before we go further. When I was able to get over the hump with achieving my goals I wondered, why wasn’t I able to do this before? It wasn’t very hard to achieve my goals now that I understood what drives me. It wasn’t easy, but when we put are minds to something it seems easy. Here are some obstacles you may think are keeping you from your goals.

Most people don’t achieve their goals because they fail to even write them down. Just taking a small action like writing the goal down increases your chances to attain the goal dramatically. When I first worked with my coach, he asked me what were my goals. As I began to tell him he said, “No don’t tell me your goals, show me your goals.” Our first couple sessions were just getting my goals, and thoughts down on paper. When you write your goals down for some reason they can just happen. We will talk about the reason why that happens later.

Some people never go all out for their goals, because they don’t believe they can attain them. If you cant see yourself achieving a goal, you wont even have the courage to write the goal down, let alone try to attain it. When I wrote down my financial goal it scared me. It scared me because if I didn’t achieve that goal, it would hurt my pride that I couldn’t keep my promise to myself. Some people duck and dodge their purpose because they are scared they might not achieve it. Look if you don’t achieve a goal in the time you wanted to achieve it, then just schedule more time. You cant be afraid of not achieving a goal. Here I will make it easy for you, “YOU WILL NOT ACHIEVE ALL YOUR GOALS.” Now that you know that, be ok with whatever happens. Be ok with just taking all the measures you can possibly take, and doing your best. Everything isn’t meant to be in our lives. After you understand this system though you will increase your chances to attain any of your goals dramatically.

Lack of focus is probably the biggest reason people don’t achieve their goals. Im twenty six years old which makes me part of what is known as generation Y. Our generation is literally distracted 20 hours a day it seems. Between television, and social media we lose at least four hours of our day minimum to doing nothing. The average person watches television four hours a day. They did a calculation of how much money people would make if they made minimum wage during those four hours. The findings might scare you, or hopefully excite you. If you are the average person watching television four hours a day, you lose out on just under two million dollars in your lifetime. I don’t know about you, but I sure could use that 2 million dollars.

Another problem that comes from lack of focus is what it does to your brain. Checking our phones constantly is literally making us dumber. It’s funny because my generation makes the argument that we were born into the technology of smart phones, so we are naturally better at multitasking. Thats hilarious to me because if we were so good at multitasking, why do we keep crashing our cars while texting? The truth about multitasking is that it is actually a myth. Multitasking cant be done. What happens is we switch task very fast and we call it multitasking. A fun fact about switching task fast, and frequent, is it actually makes the brain slower. Studies have shown that switching task frequently has more effect on making your brain slower, then smoking marijuana. Yes a weed heads brain is working faster than yours Mr. and Mrs. Multitasker. What we have to do is learn to focus on what we are doing at the time. As i’m writing this part of the book, I am in a coffee shop phone on silent in the zone. If I checked my phone while writing, it would make me slower then a stoner.

Time management may be one of the obstacles you thought you had. You might have been looking for some time management secrets in this book. Sorry to tell you there are none. The problem with time management is its just not possible. You cant manage time, if you don’t believe me try to manage a train. In the 80s and 90s people were big on time management in the attainment of productivity. If all that time management stuff worked, why cant people get anything done? I’ll tell you why, the people who taught time management articulated what they actually did, wrong. It’s not about time management, it’s about energy management. You cant control outside forces, you can only control your own energy. Time is emotion, and emotion is energy. You have to decide how much of your energy and emotion you’re  going to put into things. Im not saying don’t schedule time to do things, i’m saying schedule it intelligently to fit the proper energy and emotion you wish to use. When you schedule time its usually for other people. For example: Most people use all of their  energy on their job, rather than spending there best energy on their health, their family, or their personal development. People come home from work tired to play with their kids. Listen, your kids deserve more energy then your damn job does. But the problem is people think the time they spend with their kids is important, i’m telling you the energy is important, not the time. They did a study on the happiness in kids. The kids who parents spent more time with them, but less energy were more likely to be bullies in school. Hmmm do we have a bullying problem in todays society? The kids who’s parents spend less time with them, but had more energy, and happiness were more likely to grow up socially healthy. Stop thinking time, start thinking energy. Your kids, and every value that matters to you requires you to be present and engaged. Being engaged and aware takes energy, not time.

Just a couple years ago I was really struggling with life. I had no money, I wasn’t talking to my family, and I was fired from my job. I had hit rock bottom, but when you hit rock bottom you have no place to go, but up. I had found a job that was a hour drive away from me. My car had broke down a month prior, and I had no money. So I ended up selling it to the junk yard for two hundred dollars. I took the other three hundred dollars which was all I had, and bought a beater for a car. It was a 1987 Honda Civic, it was this ugly beige color and had rust all over it. That color of that car mixed in with the rust made it look like vomit. Then I had the day that changed my life.

I woke up from a nightmare. The nightmare was I was working at a job I hated, I had no money, and I was all alone. When I woke up from that nightmare, I realized it was a reality. I went in the bathroom brushed my teeth, put on my uniform and went to work. I hopped in my bucket car and I was off. On my way to work i hit traffic on the 10 freeway. I decided to take the diamond lane because I was afraid of losing my new job. I was so broke, I needed this job badly. Driving in the diamond lane something terrible happened, my bucket broke down. It broke down in a section on the freeway that was protected by a median. I was broken down with know where to go, and 100 cars behind me honking their horns. Broke, depressed, and embarrassed I began to push my car. I looked up to see how far I had to go, two and a half miles. I always looked for someone to help me in life, so I looked behind me to see if this lady would push my car with hers. Not wanting to damage her beautiful Mercedes Benz, she looked at me, and shrugged her shoulders. I turned around, looked forward, put my head down, and with tears in my eyes, I started to push my car. I pushed that car all by myself for nearly three miles. Somewhere in that three mile push my life was changed. I told myself with great passion, “I will never let this happen again, I will get my life together.” And thats exactly what I did.

After that day I went to work on my life. I started to read, I started to plan, and I started to make goals for myself. The key to all happiness in life is not where you are, the key to happiness in life is progression. After I had a little bit of progression it was on. I guess when the student is ready the teacher will appear. I started to pick up the right books, meet the right people, and become the right person. In one week I doubled my income. I then doubled my income every year since. I went from zero to six figures in a matter of three years. That was so huge for me once I had figured out how. Once I figured out how to believe in myself, and put the force of emotion, and focus, I couldn’t be stopped. I’ve read a book a week since that day, and my perspective on things has really grown. Im going to share the ideas I use based on that perspective to help you achieve at least, or more of what I have achieved.

Now let’s kill all the myths people are sailing you about goal setting. Lots of people are using some archaic views on goal setting that just aren’t true. Plus we will kill the myths people have for themselves on goal setting. Goal setting is mostly planning, but taking action on that plan needs to be driven by motivation, and focus. Once you know how to motivate yourself, which by the way is the only motivation, you can achieve any goal.

Some people think they don’t need goals. These people generally believe that they cant control the events that happen in their life, so they don’t set goals. They think goals aren’t for them because life will just happen to them. These people have no self efficacy in their lives. They have no direction, because they think outside forces steer their direction. These people have all the excuses in the world on why their terrible philosophy is true. You got to have an excuse right? Because if they have no excuse to why you don’t set or achieve goals, then you are safe from not succeeding. The excuses sound amazing. Some even use God as a foundation to not set goals. God is in control of their life and if it’s his will then it will happen. Sounds good, sounds like a good excuses to me. Don’t fall for excuses, please plan take action on these ideas, and take your goals proudly.

“I have goals already I don’t need to learn to set goals.” Some will say. If you have goals already I applaud you, but are they really goals? Some people have these vague goals that will not serve them in the long run. To have a goal to be physically fit, is actually not a goal. A goal has to be something you can actually see. It should be a goal you can vision, or at least be a goal you can create a vision for. What does being physically fit actually look like for you? To me it looked like being six percent body fat. I could remember what I looked like at that body fat, so it was easy for me to visualize that. But if someone who has never been physically fit sets a goal to be physically fit, that goal will not serve them. They need to be specific to the level of fitness they want, then they need to create a vision for that. As human beings our greatest asset is to be able to imagine the future, then bring that future to life.

If you cant see where you are going, or what you will achieve, then it is not a goal.

Only you can bring your goals to life. Some people believe that their goals are like a big weight on their chest, and only they can lift it. No, you can find ways to make that weight really light, and easy to lift. When you set a goal, you can always find someone who has already achieved that goal to help you. I call this idea getting coached. People don’t like the idea of getting coaching, but we get coached all the time. Coaching is just being exposed to a broader perspective to help you reach your goals. If your reading this ebook I am coaching you on my perspective to goal attainment. Its the perspective of someone who’s been hitting his goals the last two years on a regular bases. The key is to find the people who can help you achieve your goals with their perspective. Now that we have attacked a couple myths, let’s get into the why, and the how to achieve your goals. When you understand how this works it will change your life.

THE SECRET FORCE TO ALL GOAL ACHIEVEMENT

When it comes to goal getting, you have to understand what drives you. Have you ever seen the movie Harold and Kumar goes to white castle? This movie explains the force that drives goals very well. Basically in the movie Harold and Kumar were hungry for some food, and started to crave burgers from a burger place called white castle. They make the decision to go to white castle, with the vision of how good the burgers smelled, taste, and the feeling of being full. When they first had the craving, the force that drives us to our goals is released. When they set out to go to white castle they run into hundreds of problems it seems like. They get in trouble with the law, they get in fights with other people, and they even get there car stolen. The thing was they had that secret force inside of their bodies so they didn’t stop. They were going to find a way to get to white castle no matter what it took. Have you ever craved a certain food really bad and you drove far, and jumped through obstacles to get it? Thats the same thing that happen to Harold and Kumar except their obstacles were times ten. After getting arrested, being involved in a fight, and getting their car stolen, they finally made it. When they made it to white castle they ordered a huge meal, and enjoyed what they set out to achieve. With their body full of the secret force they had achieved their goal and had the craving fulfilled. With this secret force in their body, nothing could have stopped them.

So what is this magical force that I keep referring to? What is the force I harness and use in my goal attainment system, that will drive you to all of your goals? What is this force that gives you major focus, and resolve to achieve any goal? This force is called Dopamine. Dopamine is a special chemical that our body releases to give us major focus, and satisfaction. Dopamine is the feeling you get when you have achieved something you set out to achieve. Being produced from what is known as the reward center, dopamine is there, to fuel human drive. The way it works is when you see something you want, a small shot of dopamine is released in your body. What that does is gives you a tiny bit of the feeling that you have already obtained what you want. What this does is makes you want it even more, and sets you on track to get it. For example: When Harold and Kumar had the vision of eating the burgers, they got a small shot of dopamine. That small shot of dopamine gave them the focus, and determination they needed to achieve the goal. Then as they got closer, and closer, the body released more small shots of dopamine to keep them on track. Then when that first burger touched their lips, they got a huge dose of dopamine making them feel amazing. Dopamine is our bodies way of keeping us focused, and also rewarding us for achieving our goals. The key is to understand how it is released, then setting in systems that release it. When you have dopamine surging through your body, nothing will stop you. So now that you know why, let’s talk about the how to release dopamine, step by step.

STEP 1: CREATE A VISION

When you right down your goals make sure it is something you can see. I call it vision based goal setting. If you can not vision the goal the force of dopamine will not be released. You have to keep your eye on the result, or the outcome. keeping your focus on the outcome releases the emotion needed to follow through. If you can keep in your vision, the outcome of the goal then you are golden. It was the outcome of eating those burgers that kept Harold and Kumar going. Every time you think of the outcome dopamine will release and focus you. This can work against you though. Let’s say you have a goal in the fitness area. Let’s say you worked hard to create a vision on how you would look at a certain body fat percentage. If you keep that vision your well on your way to getting there. But if you have a vision of eating a donut, guess what, dopamine is released and it can steer you away from your goal. The key is when you have those cravings for the things that will hurt you, you have to stop and focus on the outcome. Focus is what drives emotion. When you get that sugar craving stop and focus on the vision of the goal. The true key to all goals is dopamine control. And the way to control it is through what vision you keep in your mind. The way to control it is with laser focus.

STEP 2: BUT WHY?

When you set out to do something you have to know why you want to do it. The why is basically the reason you want to achieve that goal. A goal without the emotion of why behind it, is weak. A bullet is deadly, it can kill. Not exactly. A bullet can only have power if there is gunpowder to propel the bullet with great force. Think of your goal as a target. You are a bullet, but the gunpowder to blast you to that target is your emotions. Emotions are the driving force of the human vehicle.

In Brendon Burchard’s book Life’s Golden Ticket there is a parable about the power of reasons. There is a scene in the book where they throw the leading character into a pit with lions. When he sees the lions the guy freaks out, he runs away terrified as the lions attack him. At that very moment the lions stop. He looks up and he sees his wife on the other side of the pit. The lions are now going for his wife. The guy gets up runs in between the lions, and his wife. He screams at the lions to get back. He becomes a beast himself trying to drive the lions back. The lions leave, and he turns around to check on his wife. When he looks his wife is gone. Then the guy who through him in the pit appears and says, “Something worth fighting for.” Having the appropriate reason turns your goals from a should, into a must.

STEP 3: SML

SML stands for Short, Medium, and Long. This is your action plan. We all should set short term, medium term, and long term goals. Short term goals are all your goals that are no more than a year out. A medium Goal, is a goal that takes anywhere from 1 to 5 years to complete. Long term goals are goals that take 5 years or more. These are generally big dreams you have for your life. Let’s break down the three and explain why they work so well.

Short term goals are goals that you want to accomplish within the year. These are daily, weekly, and monthly goals. Breaking down goals into these three categories instead of setting a time for the goal is much better. Obviously you don’t want to take a week to do a daily goal, or a month to do a weekly goal. The key is to keep your eye on the outcome. Get the outcome done period. When you wake up set you daily goals, at the beginning of the week set your weekly goals, and at the beginning of the month set your monthly goals. The power of short term goals wether its daily, weekly, or monthly is the completion of the goal. When you achieve a small goal your body releases dopamine. That dopamine in tern makes you more focused for to complete more goals. You ever had the experience when you start something and you start to see a little bit of results? You know that great feeling you get when you see the results, and it inspires you to go harder? Well thats dopamine powerfully focusing you and motivating you. Short term goals are the rituals that get you to your dreams. Proper rituals are the bridge from mediocre to greatness. Achieve your short term goals, because they make you stronger for the long haul.

Medium goals are goals that take a little bit of time to achieve. These are goals that may not be hard to do, but it takes time to complete. Getting your degree in college, or your high school diploma are perfect example of medium goals. If someone wants to be a successful lawyer thats the long term goal, getting your bachelors degree is the medium goal, and passing the classes with A’s are good short term goals. You have to focus on all three. Medium goals are those goals that take a ritual of short term goals over a period of time to achieve. If you have a medium goal to get your degree, but no short term goals to get the grades you need, you wont reach those medium goals. If you get all Fs for grades, bye bye degree. But when you achieve your medium range goals, you’ll get an even bigger serge of dopamine that will propel you forward to achieving your dreams.

Long Range goals are goals that take lots of time and discipline to achieve. These are your dreams you have for your life. Knowing your purpose in life is very important for setting your long range goals. If you don’t know what you want to do, how will you ever be able to set your dream goals? When you set your long range goals don’t play small. Have the confidence to write down that big, huge goal that will stretch you. One of my favorite business philosophers Earl Shoaff says, “Small goals don’t have the ability to stir mens blood.” Meaning if you play small and set small goals it wont motivate you. But if you have the confidence to set a big goal and believe in your ability to achieve it through the creation of your vision, you can do it. Human beings are the only creatures on earth that can imagine something, then bring it to life. Known as creative expression we have a Godlike ability to create. This whole universe is Gods creative expression, so whats going to be your expression of creation? Don’t play small, think big, act big, achieve your dreams.

Here are some questions that will help you create your goals. These are the questions I ask my coaching clients to help them get on track.

What are you trying to accomplish this year? And Why?

What do you think you need to double your business or happiness this year?

What do you want out of life? And Why?

What do you think you are on this earth for?

What strategies have you tried to improve your business or life that worked or did not work?

What do you think holds you back the most?

Answering these questions will give you more clarity in this process.

STEP 4: FIRST STEP

The reason most people don’t achieve their goals is they never even start. The hardest part in achieving a goal is to start. If you have a goal to do fifty push ups, the last push up is not the hardest push up to do. The hardest push up to do is the first one. Once you do the first one, and now you are started there is a huge chance you will finish. You cant change your outcomes overnight, but you can change your direction in an instant. The way to do that is by taking the first step towards your goal. When you set a goal make sure you intentionally figure out what the first step to achieving that goal is. Let me tell you a little secret. When you finish taking that first step, your body releases a good amount of dopamine in attempt to focus you, and motivate you to keep going. Then after that first step, the closer, and closer you get to the goal, you get more and more dopamine. This is the part of achieving the goal that you may have to force. You may have to force yourself to take the first step, but after the first step is taken then you focus, and take another step. Then you start to use the power of Mo, also known as momentum. There is nothing, nothing more powerful than dopamine driven momentum. Achieving your goals is not easy, but it is simple, as simple as taking the first step.

STEP 5: GET A COACH

Is there anybody you can think of that has achieved what you want to achieve? You don’t have to carve the road to your success, because it has already been done for you. Success leaves clues. Find the people who are already competent in what you wish to be competent in, and ask them to help you. Reach out and get them to coach you. Yes it will cost money, and life is expensive. If you think spending money on education is expensive, then try ignorance. Your dreams are more important than money and comfort. Coaching is the most powerful, underused resource in my opinion. Learning from someone who has already taken the journey shortens the learning curve tremendously. People have written books on how they achieved all their goals, all you have to do is read them. The best people in the world at what you wish to learn are usually willing to help others. Don’t be afraid to reach out and ask for guidance, or help. Im the youngest child and had the least of problems growing up then my siblings. Not because i’m necessarily better, but because I learned from my siblings mistakes. This is what coaching does for you. It allows someone who already has walked the path to tell you where the road blocks are. When you write down your goals, ask yourself, “who has done this that can help me?” Go, reach out, and ask for guidance. Go get coaching!

STEP 6: CREATE A HABIT LIST

I talk about in my book The Success Magnet that who you become is more important than what you do. I make the argument that success is attracted to the person you are, rather than you chasing success your whole life. Being is more important than doing. “We are human beings, not human doings.” If we become a great person we will naturally do great things. So how can we tell who we are? You are basically what you do everyday. You are what you do consistently. The habits you have fallen into is what attracts whatever it is in your life. Also known as your rituals, your habits must reflect the person you want to be. If you have a goal to get in a certain amount of shape, the question to ask is who do I have to be to be in that shape. The person who is in great shape eats right, and works out. Do they do this sometimes? No, they do it everyday because it is their habit, based on who they are. Being fit is who they are, not just what they are trying to do. So when you sit down to write your goals, ask yourself, what habits do I need to implement into my life to become this person. Make a list of habits and start the habits immediately. After about 30 days you will no longer be doing the habits, but you will become the person who does those habits daily. Think becoming, not doing.

STEP 7: CELEBRATE

This is my, and most likely will be your favorite step. Whenever you hit any goal celebrate. When you hit a daily goal do a small celebration, by congratulating yourself. People don’t give themselves a pat on the back for a good days work. Im telling you its ok to say to yourself, “good job, today you killed it.” This does so much for your confidence, and dopamine levels. Celebrating also releases another secret force, we will talk about that in a bit. When you celebrate your weekly goals, do something a little bit bigger. Maybe a dinner or date night with a spouse. And for your monthly goals something a little bit bigger than that. Don’t get out of control with it though. These are short term goals, not big goals. Congratulate yourself, have a dinner, have a small outing to celebrate, but stay focused.

Now with your big goals on the other hand it’s a little different. When you achieve a medium, or long term goal make sure you celebrate big. Invite all your friends out to eat, have a party, do what it takes to really congratulate yourself. Make sure you do it with your loved ones as well. Get them involved, and let them know how much they have helped you. Only do this for your big goals not your small goals. When you celebrate a big goal with your loved ones your body releases another force that makes you feel amazing. This chemical is called serotonin. Serotonin is the feeling of pride and status. Its the feeling you get when you are proud of yourself, and someone else is proud of you. This is why schools have graduations of completion. Think about it, what does it really take to graduate high school? You just make a c grade average and cruise through to get a diploma. But they have huge a huge ceremony called a graduation to release serotonin. When you walk across that stage and get a big serge of pride from accomplishment, that feeling is serotonin. The cool part about serotonin is its the social chemical. When you get that big serge of proudness, your parents in the audience get that same feeling. This is why during the grammies, the artist gets up and talks to long about all the people that helped them. They are so full of serotonin that they want to thank everyone. They say things like, “I could not have done this without you.” When they say that it magnifies the feeling ten times. Then everybody starts crying, and feels a super sense of pride from all the long hard work.

Try this discipline. How about you never go out unless it’s to celebrate a big goal. Think about the impact that will have on your life. It’s had a major impact on mines. My friends know I will not celebrate unless its to celebrate my goals, or theirs. You don’t want to reward average, or bad behavior, you only want to reward above average, and great behavior. When you party for no reason it gives off serotonin when you actually have not achieved anything. It gives you a false sense of accomplishment. I don’t even celebrate my birthday. For what? I’ll have plenty of birthdays, I should really only celebrate the birth of my dreams.

Now that we have broken down the framework that will motivate you to attain any goal, I want to share a few tips on success in this framework.

Don’t let dopamine work against you. Dopamine is very addictive, this is the reason for addictions. People that drink alcohol, take drugs, and eat a bunch of bad foods are not addicted to those things, they are addicted to the dopamine. The problem is we can get addicted to our goals and lose sight of relationships. I would recommend having relationship goals as well. Because the the only way to control a addiction is with love. Another chemical our body releases is called oxytocin. This chemical helps keep addictions under control. This is why alcohol anonymous makes there clients help others with their addictions as well. It releases oxytocin when you help others, and that will intern help with their  own addiction. Don’t lose sight of whats important, while you are trying to achieve your goals.

Get away from people who don’t know their purpose, and stay around people that are motivated like you. People who don’t want to strive for anything will try to bring you down to their level. When you are full of dopamine it wont happen, but you don’t need the weight of them hating, and slowing you down. Get around some like minded people who have a calling like you do. You guys have the same instincts to progress, and you will progress together and faster. Give them this ebook, maybe it will open their eyes to become purpose driven like you are.

So now that you know all this stuff what should you do? Im going to tell you what to do. Take the first step in achieving your goals, WRITE THEM DOWN. Get them out of your mind and get them on paper. Don’t be one of those people who acquires knowledge and does nothing with it. Knowledge is not power, knowledge is only potential power if applied. It’s ok to be ignorant and not achieve goals, but it’s pitiful to have the information and not do anything with it. The difference between successful people and unsuccessful people is the power of implementation. Successful people take what they learned, and they apply it immediately. You got this, remember its simple. All you have to do is start. Yea it takes a little time to write down your goals, but whats a little time to achieving your dreams? Life is serious, so it’s time for you to get serious. If not for you then for your family. Nobody is going to do this for you, you have to do it for yourself. I just handed you tons of value, in the form of this ebook. Take that value it’s yours. If you’re not going to do this then who is? If you’re not going to do it now, then when are you going to do it? No more excuses. get it done,

Roy also Is a performance coach who works with pro, college, and high school athletes. He works with the athletes to dramatically increase, tangible, measurable, and physical results. He also does this with companies, organizations and anyone who has a purpose.

At the age of 25, Roy realized he was not the person he wanted to become. That’s when he decided to make a change in his life. Since that startling realization, he went from broke to making six-figures, homeless to buying his first home, and depressed to feeling fulfilled.

Roy Found that his distinctions dramatically increased what he calls workability. Workability simply means the ability to get the job done. When we look at the workability of an object we judge the object on its ability to do what the object was made for. With this knowledge, Roy realized that the workability of a human comes down to the human’s ability to achieve its purpose. This makes performance the most important thing in life because to perform means to do what it takes to achieve a purpose. Roy became a performance coach for Pro, collegiate, and high school athletes. With a new distinction, Roy calls UnBounded Performance Roy is coaching people to dramatically increases tangible, measurable and physical results.

Roy has spoken at Ted, National Head Start Conference, International Health and Wealth conference, La Sierra University, Unbounded Basketball Camp, Chaffey College, Stanford, Inland Empire One Love Christmas Party For Orphans, and Multiple High School, College, and NBA Teams. I have been featured on shows like Hollywood Unlocked, The Daily Grind, Convos with Cole, and multiple radio shows and podcast.
